Nigeria versus Zambia: FIFA rejects Chipolopolo's dissent over refused goal

FIFA has tossed out Zambia's dissent, in regards to the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria on October 7 in Uyo.

The Super won the match 1-0 and fit the bill for their third straight World Cup, with a match to save in African qualifying Group B.

However, the Football Association of Zambia were bothered that the ref, Joshua Bondo, was not by any stretch of the imagination reasonable in his treatment of the match.

FAZ recorded a formal challenge to FIFA requesting that they investigate the issue.

The Chipolopolo are furious that their 'objective' was refused by Bondo.

The objective being referred to was scored after one of the right hand arbitrators, had plainly hailed for offside and adequately halted play.

Be that as it may, in a letter routed to FAZ and marked by Julien Deux of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, the world football representing body expelled the case for lacking legitimacy, advising the Zambians to acknowledge the outcome and alluding them to Article 15, Paragraph 6 of the World Cup controls.

FIFA said there was "no proof of any encroachment of the controls by the arbitrators".
