Police Public Relations Officer captured 23-year-old lady for dumping day-old infant in Kebbi

A 23-year-old lady, Gambo Suleiman, has been captured by the Kebbi State Police Command in association with a day-old infant kid dumped close to a house in Yauri, Kebbi.

An onlooker, Malam Musa Yauri, told writers in Yauri that the infant was discovered dumped behind a working at around 5 p.m. on Sunday evening.

"They have given over the infant to the Yauri Local Government Authority, who thusly, gave over the child to the Kebbi Orphanage Home, for appropriate care," he said.

The Command's Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mustapha Suleiman, affirming the occurrence, said the child's mom, Gambo Suleiman has been captured.

"Examination by the police uncovered that the suspect, Gambo Suleiman isn't hitched.

"Promote examination concerning the conditions encompassing the presume's activity has started; the suspect would be indicted after the examination," Yauri included.
