Rev Bayo Adelaja of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lokoja, has asked the general population of Kogi to supplicate truly for the state.
Adelaja, who decided while conveying a sermon; "God's hand on the city" in Lokoja on Sunday, mourned what he called "numerous unsavory happenings" in the state.
He said everybody must implore against each sinister development and for God to intercede in Kogi.
Adelaja sympathized with the group of Mr Edward Soje who hanged himself throughout the end of the week and supplicated God to comfort them.
Soje's body was found on a tree behind the mammy advertise at the Maigumeri military enclosure, in Lokoja.
The 54-year-old submitted suicide 10 days after his significant other of 17 years brought forth an arrangement of male triplets in a private clinic in Abuja.
The Grade Level 16 Officer in the Kogi State Teaching Service Commission, hails from Ogori town in Ogori-Magongo Local Government region of the state.
Soje, supposedly owed 11 months' pay back payments, had before killing himself headed out to Abuja and left a suicide note for the spouse who likewise works in one of the government services.
The suicide note read, "Hymn 121:3 God won't endure your foot to be moved: He that keepeth you won't sleep. So be it. You and the three young men, the God Almighty will keep you and succeed you, so be it. I adore you."
