The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, yesterday showed up before a Senate board testing the assertions leveled against him by Senator Isah Hamma Misau (APC, Bauchi) yet said he would not answer any inquiry.

An individual from the board, Senator Hope Uzodinma, told the attorney that the Senate was not a courtroom, saying if the Senate had issued a capture warrant against the IGP, he should bring himself. Notwithstanding, Senator Obinna Ogba recommended that the advisory group "ought to go and think about the archives presented by the IGP and if require be we can welcome him once more."
The supplication was acknowledged by the board.
