(INEC) has enrolled 69, 526 new voters in Niger state

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has enrolled 69, 526 new voters in Niger in the on-going Continuous Voters Registration work out. Prof. Samuel Egwu, the state Resident Electoral Commissioner made the exposure in a meeting with newsmen on Wednesday in Minna.

He clarified that 45, 563 of the new voters were guys and 23,963 females, including that each one of those enrolled had been issued brief voter card.

 "We have just reached the pioneers of different political gatherings to prepare more qualified voters to enlist," he included.

The official, notwithstanding, regretted that the state still has 136,958 unclaimed Permanent Voter Cards, and asked those yet to gather theirs over the 25 nearby government territories of the state to do as such.
