Painful Exist Director of Corps Mobilization, Frank Ekpunobi is Dead

This was reported on Tuesday in an announcement by the NYSC Acting Director of Press and Public Relations, Adeyemi Adenike (Mrs)

The announcement peruses: "With profound feeling of misfortune, the Director General National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Suleiman Zakari Kazaure, Management and the whole NYSC Family lament to declare the progress of Chief Frank Ekpunobi FNIM, who until the point that his end was the Director, Corps Mobilization, National Youth Service Corps, National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja."

It included that "Boss Frank Ekpunobi was an extraordinary resource for the plan and will be associated with his feeling of tirelessness, teach, responsibility and unwaveringness to the association. He will be painfully missed."

Ekpunobi, a 1984 graduate of Sociology/Anthropology, University of Nigeria, Nsukka joined the National Youth Service Corps in 1986 as Inspector 2. He had splendid profession in the Public Service, rising consistently at work and by dint of diligent work, achieved the position of substantive Director on first January, 2015.

Preceding his height to the zenith of his profession, Ekpunobi had worked as Head of secretariat, National Governing Board; Head of Administration, office of the Director General, National Youth Service Corps; State Coordinator, NYSC Secretariat, Kogi; and Coordinator, NYSC FCT Secretariat, Abuja.

In the mean time, the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) has paid a sympathy visit to the Director-General of NYSC over the passing of Chief Frank Okey Ekpunobi.

The Board, while sympathizing with the Management and staff of the NYSC conspire, lauded late Chief Ekpunobi for his sterling qualities.

As per the Director of Human Resource Department of the Board, Abdulmalik Saidu, who drove an appointment to the NYSC Headquarters, the late Ekpunobi was a committed and dedicated staff.

He supplicated that God should allow the whole NYSC family and the Ekpunobis the grit to hold up under the misfortune.

"We are here to express our ardent sensitivity over the passing of our Director, we ask that Allah allow him interminable rest," he said.

Saidu likewise exhibited a sympathy letter to General Kazaure in the interest of the board.

In his reaction, NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, recognized the board for the visit.

He portrayed late Chief Ekpunobi as a staff who was focused on the goals of NYSC Scheme and would be missed for his huge commitments to the plan.
