Police capture Jonathan's nephew, Akpusu for neglectful shooting

Bayelsa State Police Command has affirmed the capture and arrival of Mr. Oguanisi Akpusu, a nephew of previous President Goodluck Jonathan, over the shooting of two people amid a Masquerade Festival at Emeyal 1 group of Ogbia Local Government Area.

Police Commissioner, Asuquo Amba, told newsmen that examinations demonstrated that the shooting was "incidental".

He included that the casualties maintained weapon shots to their legs and thigh.

Amba affirmed that Akpusu, who went to the Masquerade Festival in Ogbia kingdom, shot a Hausa and Igbo indigenes at Omeyal 1.

He said the shooter was captured by Policemen joined to the Kolo Divisional Police and that the case was moved to the 'genuine wrongdoing unit' of the State Police Command in Yenagoa.
