President Muhammadu Buhari has guaranteed Nigerians that he won't clear the case including the troubled previous annuity manager, Abdulrasheed Maina, far from anyone's regular field of vision.

Buhari stated: "The extent that the legislature is concerned, it (Maina's case) is a disentangling matter.

"The last you heard authoritatively from the legislature was that he was requested to be withdrawn from benefit and a report was requested, that report came in and the President has it.

"Along these lines, until the point that the President returns to Nigerians, you can't state the issue is shut or it is hidden away from plain view," he included.

Maina, who was blamed for bungling of about N2 billion benefits subsidize, was restored into the Federal Civil Service after he was pronounced needed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
