Gbenga Daniel pulls back from National chairmanship race: PDP Convention

Another contender for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship, Jimi Agbaje, has pulled back from the race.

Mr. Daniel, a previous Ogun State representative, is the fourth contender to stop after Bode George, Jimi Agbaje and Rashidi Ladoja all from the South west.

As indicated by him, he ventured down to enhannce solidarity thinking about that there were an excessive number of competitors from the South West causing gratings

The tussle for PDP chairmanship is by all accounts between Uche Secondus and Professor Tunde Adeniran.

As you know, over the most recent three months when I took the choice to challenge for the post of the National Chairman of our awesome gathering, I have done what has been portrayed in many quarters as generally remarkable. I navigated the length and broadness of our awesome nation, in all the 36 states and the FCT, meeting with different partners, initiative and gathering individuals, and setting up structures for my own goal, as well as to feel the beat of Nigerians and test the quality and fame of our gathering among the natives.

It was another expectation to absorb information for me since I found that regardless of our broadly broadcasted pockets of inside difficulties, numerous Nigerians are earnestly and legitimately searching for a believable contrasting option to the decision party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), and most joyfully, the Peoples Democratic Party is as yet being viewed as that sound and adequate option.

It was an awesome open door for me to spread the message of expectation, restoring the certainty of our gathering individuals as well as Nigerian residents about our incredible gathering. I trust that I did what is anticipated from a devoted and conferred party part to infuse another life into the gathering, revive and reenergise it for ideal acknowledgment by the electorate.

We are a political gathering, and a vote based one at that. This, to me is the best test before our gathering, and recapturing this lost eminence is more essential to me than any goal for workplaces.

Keeping in mind the end goal to manage the newly discovered peace and restored certainty of Nigerians in our gathering and decrease the hidden yet potential line of gratings, I consider it to the best advantage the gathering to deliberately pull back from the Chairmanship race with the goal that we can altogether search for and choose great pioneers to win races in 2019.
