PDP respects Atiku's arrival, urges others to do same

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has respected the arrival of the previous Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, to its crease on Sunday.

Mr. Abubakar took to facebook to report that he is joining the PDP in the wake of leaving from the representing All Progressives Congress, APC, a week ago.

In an announcement by its representative, Dayo Adeyeye, late on sunday, PDP said " we are undoubtedly happy that he has understood the unbridled falsehoods/double dealing of his previous Party, the All Progressive Congress, APC.

"The PDP remains his home; a house he was a piece of building and which he supported. We trust his arrival will include an incentive during the time spent revamping our Party to more prominent statures".

The PDP depicted Mr. Abubakar's choice to rejoin it as "another point of reference recorded by the present authority of our gathering in its journey to accommodate, modify and rebuild the PDP in front of the 2019 General Elections and past.

"We will keep on remaining straightforward and committed to the administration of this gathering. Once more, we need to utilize this chance to approach every one of our individuals that are still in the APC or different gatherings to return home. ‎

"We are similarly stretching out our welcome to every one of those in the APC who are disappointed by the gathering's inability to convey the products. Any individual who is burning of an arrival to the period of plenitude and opportunity under the PDP organization is welcome. The umbrella is sufficiently huge to oblige all.

"We order our individuals across the country to meet up as one family, as we walk to Eagle Square, Abuja on Saturday 9 – Sunday 10, December 2017 to choose our new pioneers who will deal with the issues of our gathering at the national level," the announcement said.
