Three pass in Ogun street crash

Three people were affirmed dead in a mishap including a Honda Civic and a white Nissan Cabstar at Olorunsogo town along the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway.

The Public Relations Officer, Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Mr. Babatunde Akinbiyi, who affirmed the occurrence to the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday, said the mischance occurred on Saturday.

Akinbiyi said the driver of the Nissan Cabstar, with number plate, KSF 906 XR, was speeding when he lost control.

He said the auto left its path for another path, which prompted a head-on impact with the Honda with number plate, GBE 495 AA.

"The driver of the Nissan Cabstar was on top speed when he lost control and crossed to the contrary path. He at that point hit the approaching vehicle.

"The mischance included eight individuals: six guys and two females. Three guys kicked the bucket in the mishap, while two individuals maintained different degrees of damage," Akinbiyi said.

The TRACE representative said the cadavers of the casualties were taken to the Federal Medical Center morgue in Abeokuta, and the harmed people were admitted to a similar clinic.

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun State, Mr Clement Oladele, likewise affirmed the occurrence.
