Fuel shortage: Senator Marafa bars Kachikwu, Baru from noting inquiries on endowment

The Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu and the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation, NNPC, Baru, were uncovered from noting inquiries on sponsorship yesterday.

The Chairman Senate advisory group on Petroleum, Senator Kabir Marafa (APC, Zamfara) had asked Kachikwu and Baru not to react to questions raised by different legislators on whether endowment was being paid or not.

Representative Bassy Albert Akpan (PDP, Akwa Ibom) had brought up the issue, requesting to clarification from the Petroleum partners on the N26 differential in the arrival cost of N171 and the N145 endorsed cost.
