A pundit of Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade's legislature and All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain, Paul Efere has been captured and confined at the Cross River State Police Headquarters on charge of cultism and grabbing.
The suspect was captured in Abuja and headed to Cross River State, where he was taken straight to the cell at the Police Headquarters.
The APC Acting Chairman in the State, Mr John Ochala disclosed to NAIJAEXPOSEMILL that the capture was political and not criminal as claimed.
"Paul Efere is an APC stalwart, he is a social pundit, he has been battling for good administration in Cross River State, he has nothing individual with anyone. 99% of his affirmations are correct, these are all what individuals find in the state and call for redress", he charged.
While demanding that Efere's capture was built by the legislature of the day, he stated, "you recall the instance of Joseph Odock, the instance of Hon Paul Adah, the instance of Venatius Ikem, this is their own strategy for planning for 2019, rather than them confronting administration, they are caught up with scaring guiltless individuals.
"Is it a wrongdoing to state, Mr Governor, represent well, quit putting bailout finance in the record of your sibling, is it a wrongdoing to state, be judicious in administration of assets?
