The Federal Government of Nigeria has expressed that the installment of annuity advantages to resigned Biafran cops would end the excruciating inheritances of the Nigerian Civil War.

Addressing writers, he stated, "I was a cop of the rank of ASP before the war finished. We have served in Biafra amid the war. After the war, some policemen and troopers who served in Biafra amid the war were expelled. We felt that was unjustifiable in light of the fact that other government employees who served in Biafra amid the war were reabsorbed. Along these lines, from 1970, we began fomenting for equity.
