30-year-old robbery suspect and father of five overpowered by passengers

A 30-year-old theft suspect and father of five, Terngu Nave, was, end of the week, incapacitated and beaten by his casualties amid a burglary operation at Abua Mbagwen in Buruku Local Government region of Benue State.

The suspect, who was supposedly wearing military disguise, was paraded by the Benue State Police Command's Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent Moses Yamu, said his group individuals deserted him to his destiny when he was overwhelmed by the brave inhabitants of the vehicle the pack individuals were looting.

He admitted: "Our three-man posse had raged the Gboko/Katsina-Ala significant expressway at around 2a.m., wearing military cover and mounted detour to loot suburbanites.

"As we halted the vehicle and began looting the travelers, in a steady progression, I plunged my hand into the pocket of one of them and he held me and yelled to alternate travelers to hold me. He likely found that the riffle I was holding had no slugs in it.

"At the point when alternate travelers perceived how brave the man was, they all went along with him to secure me, while the two different individuals from my group took to their foot sole areas. The travelers gave me the beating of my life before giving me over to the Police."
