Eight days after they were grabbed by shooters, the groups of a craftsman and his cousin are as yet confounded about their destiny.

Ibikunle's more youthful sister, Folusho Adeyomoye, told our journalist that the casualties were setting out to Abuja from Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, with a woman last Monday when they kept running into the shooters.

She stated, "My sibling and cousin live in Ado Ekiti. They were making a trip to Abuja from Ado Ekiti on Monday with a woman who is a family companion. They would see somebody who guaranteed to land them a position.

"As per the woman; when they got to Akunu Road, two ruffians all of a sudden rose up out of a hedge and began shooting. They were compelled to stop. The street is terrible and drivers normally back off. Along these lines, the ruffians exploited the awful street.

"The criminals discharged the woman and took away my sibling and cousin. The woman said policemen at a police post close to the scene of the capture traded them in a shootput, however they (the policemen) did not pursue them."

Adeyomoye clarified assist that the auto the casualties were going in was deserted at the scene, including that the case was accounted for at the Ikare Police Division.

"The policemen there guaranteed to investigate the issue, yet we have not heard any positive advancement from them. The criminals are requesting N10m. We begged them to gather N3m. They dismissed it and said they would not acknowledge N5m," she said.

The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Femi Joseph, said the charge was endeavoring endeavors to protect the hostages.

He stated, "We are as yet exploring and we have gained some ground. In any case, we would prefer not to reveal anything until further notice."
