Babatunde Fashola denounced unconfirmed allegations against Dino Melaye

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has denounced what he depicted as 'unconfirmed claims' raised by a representative against his service.

Dino Melaye, Kogi-APC, had first as an appeal, and later as a movement, blamed the service for fumbling assets to the tune of $35 million and another endeavor to split away with $350 million Eurobond.

Responding to these claims, the priest in an announcement he by and by marked said he will participate with the Senate as he and his staff has done nothing incorrectly in administration of the said finance.

"With all accentuation, I express that there is no verifiable reason for the charges," he said. "The service, my staff and I have done nothing incorrectly and we will work together completely with the exploring advisory group when called upon."

Mr. Fashola noticed that he was not a priest in 2013, the period for which the representative asserted the assets were gotten. He likewise said the duty of overseeing government obligation like Eurobond is that of the Debt Management Office and not his service.
