The Deputy Director of DSS in Anambra State, Mr. Yekini Ishola, gave the guidance while exhibiting a paper, titled, "Creating innovative methodology towards wrongdoing lessening in tertiary foundation," at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
Ishola credited the expansion in cybercrime in the nation to shortage of digital security specialists and other innovative methods for handling the hazard.
He said Internet misrepresentation stayed pervasive in the South-West particularly Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states.
He stated, "Cybercrimes are not carried out by people, but rather by syndicates utilizing burglary, hacking, stocking, vindictive programming and different questionable intends to obtain entrance into individual data and record subtle elements.
"Stop from uncovering touchy individual data like Bank Verification Numbers, ATM stick numbers, passwords and telephone numbers to obscure people."
